My expertise comes from my extensive experience of front-line operations in the Royal Marines and from influencing entrenched insurgent mindsets on Military Human Intelligence operations in Afghanistan. My past life was a whirlwind of high pressure, extremely austere, and occasionally life-threatening situations, operating in elite teams to achieve a broad variety of challenging objectives.
I found Jake’s session very informative, with the theory translating really well into practice. Everything he covered resonated with me but also gave me a different perspective. Having the chance to discuss and hear other peoples views within my team made me leave the workshop reflecting on how I react and respond to others, and how I can alter those reactions moving forward for a better result.

Jake brings to bear his experiences and values as a Human Intelligence specialist in the Royal Marines by conveying his most valuable lessons, his diverse range of skills, and experiences to his work as a consultant, capability development facilitator, and public speaker, helping organisations and individuals to excel by shaping their ability to understand, communicate with and capitalise on interactions with the people in their ecosystems. He has taken the opportunity to give his achievements and learnings an academic underpinning by undertaking further training in Evaluating Truthfulness and Credibility, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Transactional Analysis, and Trauma Risk Management.
